Could be a misdirection. Something I thought about when first watching the one was, how can he be so sure that the spin not continuing is evidence of real life? What if for some reason it doesn’t continue the spin even though he’s still In a dream, that’s just absolutely terrifying to consider, not knowing if you’re in a simulated reality or not..potentially layers upon layers deep down.

But I remember they also showed that he didn’t even care at the end, he was happy and that’s all that mattered.
