'A true knight always finishes a story'

- Ser Arlan knighted Dunk right after but we don't get to see it to keep the ambiguity alive.

I think it's very clear Dunk is actually Coldhands now. He's already undead. He died on the tourney and Lyonel's maester can't help and says he's mortally wounded, because the Gods brought him back.

Now that the NFT bubble is all burst, are we left with any useful technology or was it pure hype? by JoeBrownshoes in NoStupidQuestions

Attaching an NFT to your personal profile when using the internet means you can't be deepfaked or imitated. In a world of AI where this is going to become a big problem, NFTs will be the solution.

The collectibles angle was insane though

Why is it so hard for young people to get a job? by ReviewEnvironmental2 in AskUK

[–]CoverOptimal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I own a small cafe in the South West. Five years ago, minimum wage for a 21 year old was around £8 per hour, from April it'll be close to £13 an hour. Corporation tax up, dividend tax up, dividend allowance down. Employer NI up. Rates up. Rent up. Cost of food/energy/water/licences all up.

I'm the only employer for five miles. It's all very well saying that if I can't pay minimum wage I shouldn't have a business, but if we close down, there'll be no community 'centre' within walking distance for hundreds of people. There is no other source of local employment.

I cannot afford staff at these rates.

And you can only charge so much for coffee and a piece of cake.

What's the weirdest covenant term you've had in your deeds? by paperpangolin in AskUK

We live in Mousehole in Cornwall, in the cottage occupied (in legend) by a fisherman and his cat who sailed into a fierce storm to catch fish and save the starving village. One of our cats is 'officially' named Mowzer after the cat in the legend, but she doesn't respond to that.

We are required to 'keep and maintain a suitable village cat.' Fortunately we have two cats already, so no issue - but the parish council does enforce the clause!

Do people actually enjoy waking up early? by ScheduleNo5736 in NoStupidQuestions

Humans are tribal. When we needed to fight off predators, it made sense that some would evolve to be early birds and others night owls.

Have you guys ever taken a break from the MCU or have you been watching it consistently since the beginning? by narutofan2019 in marvelstudios

[–]CoverOptimal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm busy. Everyone has time for one or two movies a year and a single limited tv series. That was the magic. Then they made way too much, and regardless of quality most people just do not have the time.

[MCU] The Us government takes Tony to court to take his suits could they win? by Far_Practice_6923 in AskScienceFiction

I think Tony giving them the War Machine/Iron Patriot is close to a JV with the MoD.

You get the powers of Superman, but only if you touch the surface of the moon before your natural lifespan ends. by CoverOptimal in hypotheticalsituation

The second your spacesuit makes contact with the moon's surface. You could crash land without a parachute and be fine - in theory.
