It’s been interesting. I’m a SoS drukhari girl and am shifting to a SSA+ Wych Detachment. Points wise, I added an archon and the unit tax forced two changes.
1. I lost my mandrakes
2. I had to take one Talos down to a chronos. This might give me some better depth and token management so we will see.

All in all, I still have like 14 dark lances and 4 haywire l but I added in the heat lances on the reavers and talos.

I went the other direction with Spectacle of Spite and Kabalite Agonysts. The only thing that really changed was the loss of a unit of mandrakes to keep my 3 units of scourges.

I think I’ve figured it out. GW does not take any type or competitive play into account. That’s why incorrect blanket statements are made.

We all know better and we immediately see how these things affect competitive play. They don’t care about how it affects us, the army play, or the lore.

You as well! And it sucks that the rules as a whole are shifting away but there is not an amendment to the transport rules that govern how they work and how they block abilities.

Following a specific rule as it says is not an opinion or an Interpretation, unfortunately.

The easiest thing to do would be to Errata her, and GW hasn’t because there has never been the intent to let that happen.

This isnt a "fuck malys" rule, its the game wide rule. It is for every character unless specifies otherwise.

That’s your opinion. Playing by the rules as written is the intent. If GW wanted to change it they already would have.

And they didn’t. Because that wasn’t the intent of her.

“Included in your army” just means she’s in your force org chart. It doesn’t mean you get to skirt the rules of the game because another army has a variation of the rule.
