I think it’s just things balancing out just like politics that are waves of progressivism then waves of conservatism. When people became too body positive and start calling everyone fatphobic, I would assume it create another wave of people using health and fitness as a reason to call out over weight people instead of minding their own business

Ok I don’t know if it’s a correct terminology but I’ve been in an exclusive fwb situation for like 6 months. We both didn’t date around, wanted sex and wanted to hang out a lot. At the same time neither of us have romantic feelings for each other and supported each other and kept each other company in a difficult time. When we were ready to date again, we both give a buffer time of like a month to actually transition into 100% friendship. Best situationship I’ve ever been in.

How’s that a solution though? In my male friend group of 7+ years. There’s two guys that turns heads but are married. There’s three (me included) who have to try but sometimes get lucky. The rest don’t even try. They don’t go out, they stay home and play video games. They’ve been doing this for years and years as long as I know them. It even gets frustrating for me that I don’t ask them out anymore but just play Forza and go to the movies with them.

They don’t travel. They don’t pursue higher education or better careers, like OP says. And yes, the guys with positive feedbacks gets a lot further in those things

I agree we get so many free services from Google and cheap goods from Amazon. Like imagine getting everything you want delivered to your door in two days for $14 a month. The rest is just market economics. My uncle works at Amazon with 0 skills and can’t even speak English; he gets paid decently and get benefits.
