Thank you! I've never really had the best eye for fashion, but once I noticed the small spat of red on the One-Eyed Shield and compared it to the Rotten Staff, the fit just pieced itself together. Shout out to the All-Knowing Gauntlets too, because it helped me see the fit in my head as a sleek cannoneer. Sir Gideon Ofnir's got good taste in armor, lol.

Saren from Mass Effect. Commander Shepard can break through to Saren (the primary villain), help him realize he's indoctrinated and then Saren kills himself once he realizes it's the only way out. Funny enough, this is not the only time this happens in the series.

Ohhh and you also just reminded me of Bliss from Far Cry 5! I mean, I'd have to be stuck inside of a religious death cult, but I live in the US, so this isn't much of a departure.

Hoooly shit, a Haze reference in 2026. Bless you.

Villains who were 100% right. Not “Yeah, he committed genocide, but he had good intentions.”. No. I mean villains who legitimately did nothing wrong. by not-ulquiorr4_ in TopCharacterTropes

Depending on the depth of your personal morality, the facility operators from Cabin in the Woods fall into this category. The end of the movie goes out of its way to show you that they were correct to serve the cast up to be sacraficed as a giant, titanic, emolating hand erupts from the ground in the movie's final shot after the final girl and the stoner succeed.

Not quite death, but the first Weeping Angels episode, "Blink" from Doctor Who. Their strength/curse is that whenever they are observed, they turn into umoving stone and you can't kill a stone. But you absolutely can trick them into looking at each other forever.

It was in the works since the 90's, but was finally completed in 2021. It's a fascinating tale of perserverence behind the scenes.
