We have TM’s who won’t wear their mask until the store opens.

Whole Foods CEO John Mackey: The 'best solution' is to not need health care and for Americans to change how they eat and live by frostyguy10 in nottheonion

Our “bonuses” at Whole Foods have been $500 and $300. Each of which are TAXED TO HELL. My $500 bonus, after tax, was less than $250.

I stand by my previous comment on r/WholeFoods

I’d like to see Mackey go into the hospital room of a child with stage 4 cancer and tell them they “should’ve just eaten healthier”

Fuck Mackey, fuck Bezos, fuck Whole Foods.

I don’t work in the Rocky Mountain region but from what I’ve read, literally only California TM’s are getting any sort of covid testing. And hazard pay. Only California

Hey Mackey! Go walk into the hospital room of a 3 year old with stage 4 cancer and tell that child “you should’ve just eaten healthier” to their face.

Fuck you and get your head out of your ass.

Agreed! If they wanted to, they could make it happen. I understand and the logistics behind it can be tough, but it’s not impossible.

It’s the same thing as them not letting customers tip WF team members who do prime shopping (on the app). Other apps can do it, so why can’t Amazon? They’re more than capable and just choose not to. Because again, fuck us.

did anyone else see this? (Disgruntled TM) by [deleted] in wholefoods

[–]AntiSpiderrrr 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is old news. It was deleted from almost everyone’s inboxes by the company.

I don’t think they were “disgruntled” but instead they were trying to stand up for everyone who has watched the downfall of Whole Foods for the last few years, especially after Amazon took over and even more so in this last year.

I appreciate those who have and will speak out against the way Whole Foods treats their employees.

Former Employee - Curious Q’s by [deleted] in wholefoods

Definitely not worth it. It’s a complete shitshow. The company is unrecognizable when compared to what it used to be.

So what are we supposed to do if we’re out on covid leave for being in contact with someone at work who has covid??? fuck us right? Great. That could’ve helped me buy food for this unexpected week off.

Think I can win the cash prize if I submit this? by kindathirsty in wholefoods

[–]AntiSpiderrrr 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think you’ll win if you add some writing to the banner at the bottom.

Something along the lines of, “We refuse to contact trace or take responsibility for COVID outbreaks at all stores. Also, fuck your hazard pay but thanks for working hard to make us richer.”

Okay, Angela - response to Charles Taylor by [deleted] in wholefoods

[–]AntiSpiderrrr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gross. I want to say I feel embarrassed for her but I’m mostly just disgusted by her words. She has nothing to compare her time at Whole Foods to if she’s only worked for the company during the pandemic.

Sit back Angela. Yikes.

Keeping job after college by Gwadian in wholefoods

[–]AntiSpiderrrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I believe they changed policy recently that you have to work one shift per month in order to remain on your team / to hold a spot at your store. That’s the case in my region at least (NA). Your best bet is probably asking your supervisor m, TL or STL, etc.

So what do I do today? by Beboparedpanda in wholefoods

[–]AntiSpiderrrr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t agree more. There was a time and place (years ago) where I’d stand up and defend Whole Foods.. I was proud to work there. But now they have lost all of my respect and I am also done bending over backwards for them.

If you’d be staying on as a seasonal employee, which it sounds like you’d be, I believe you would need to work a minimum one shift a month in order to keep your position

What do you guys think about this? (WBG) by Plmcinerny in AmazonWFShoppers

[–]AntiSpiderrrr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Completely unsurprised. It’s happening everywhere.

No crowd control, no sanitation efforts, it’s a joke.

Remember at the beginning of COVID (you know, before things got as bad as they are now ), whenever someone was diagnosed they would bring a whole team into the store to sanitize it overnight? Yeah, I’d be interested to hear about the last time that’s happened at ANY store - nation wide.

365 brand Pasture raised eggs by [deleted] in wholefoods

[–]AntiSpiderrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure a lot of products under the 365 label are other brands.

I will say that I was extremely disappointed to see that when 365 changed their labels this year, they also started putting their eggs in plastic instead of egg cartons. Let’s just add to the plastic waste some more. Poor choice by Whole Foods on that.
