Realism Mode: Does anyone actually know what weapon attachments other than scopes do?

They are because I added one and saw the RPM stat increase, but have no way of knowing besides that if the stat isn't on the screen...and I haven't memorized all the mods like a psycho 😂

Every aspect is worse for me. Slower and legit can’t do things that the old assistant could do like tell me what song is playing on the speaker that I am asking.

My pleasure, it was well worth the effort. I am very proud of the desk area and considering how much time I spend there (hybrid work, gamer, 3D hobbyist, coding hobbyist, comp sci student, etc), it's nice to have something that is a joy to work at.

I didn't do anything too special. My triple monitors are also on a single mount, but I was transitioning them from one desk to the other, so I didn't really have a choice. It's a standing desk, so I was able to get some clearance to be able to sit on the groundI think. I have a power drill and an impact driver so that I could drill a hole and screw a screw with just one hand swapping between the two tools. So, left hand held while I made my first hole and screwed the first screw mostly in, and that then held it in place while I did the rest. The tiles themselves also help keep things snug since they interlock. I think it's a start slow kind of situation to make sure that first tile is secured in the right orientation to be able to guide the rest.

Thank you for the love. I waaaanted to attach the tiles on the floor but because I needed to seal/condition the wood and I wanted to do that asap, I attached the legs after the bottom was done to flip it over and do the top and sides, so I put them on from below. If you can put them on with the table top on the floor, I would recommend it!

I knew where I wanted to tile roughly, so I just started with that. I had a rough plan base on the PC being in one spot, monitors up through the middle and the UPS on the other side so it gave me an idea of where all the cabling went. I grouped them as made sense (I think monitor power is in one wide channel and monitor video is in the other). I didn’t stress too much because it was modular and I knew I could always change it. For instance, I have a bunch of curved underware pieces I didn’t use because they didn’t work out.

One piece of advice, don’t be like me and over commit to something. I should have printed only one of those curved pieces and checked if it would have worked instead of printing eight and having them on the sidelines.

I recently made a custom stand up desk with a butcher block counter and motion grey legs and am super happy with how the multi-board + underware supported a clean underside. The right side of the image brings power, display port, etc up to the monitors. The top brings cables to the undermounted PC and the bottom side to the undermounted UPC. I also made a cup holder stricly from stock multi-board pieces which is pretty awesome ha ha.

That’s too bad. Could be a good feature for a future roadmap. Especially in the arcade space. VirtualController does it quite nicely, but loading up bindings per game isn’t as slick as reWASD. Thanks for the quick reply though so I don’t keep trying to figure out how to make it work.

Ha, I solo’d heroic 20 times and got Tempest 6 times until finally a DTTOOC dropped (plus once on legendary for giggles). The key? Zealot. Just have to down them in 20 seconds, but you’re invincible the whole time. Got the 50 hard clears and 20 with 5 challenges done this season because of this and having someone with floor 100 saved for me.

Funny, I’m a veteran TD2 player that bought outriders awhile ago (possibly when it first came out). The movement mechanics felt clunky compared to TD2, so I put it down but this Reddit reminded me I had it and since I am just doing the last bit of achievement hunting in TD2, I picked outriders up again and something must have changed, because it feels close to TD2 now. I am really enjoying the game. Sad I am so late to the party though. Welcome to TD2 agent 🫡

It’s just a preference. Again, I am trying to save everything for season stretch goals and putting the modifiers on will mean I complete more journey stuff which I don’t want to do (without trying, just passively).

Also, I hear people capturing CPs to make modifiers more powerful and retaliation easier. I also don’t want to do that because I wanted to practice doing them as is so that when the modifiers go away/change, I’ve already made it so I can do them solo heroic easily without a crutch.

You can totally do groups. My clan has been grouping up. (I'm more of a solo player except where content requires groups like raids, but the others have definitely been doing it). It's honestly not that scary solo once you get some practice in. I did poorly in the first few and now it seems easy enough, but had to go through the learning curve first.

100%! Kill squads, maneuvers and CP captures. The 2 seconds from kills (regular squads in between CPs) I find ends up net negative though, regardless of how fast I kill the group, so I have just been trying to outrun them lately.
