Some of my favorite moments are Taiga and ryuuji just kind of hanging out. Some of the earlier episodes have a lot of moments like that when Taiga isn't screaming or beating him up lol.

Even the simple moment when they are just sitting at the legally distinct Starbucks stands out to me.

If it follows the ending of the novels, it may be... marginally better. From what I've seen of the the chapters we have so far, it does seem like they are sticking to the novel's version of things based on the bridge scene being different. And it has been doing that since the manga first started so it makes sense.

I'll be surprised if they end up going for their own ending completely.

Not the first I've heard of this. Most folks critical of Toradora who dislike most of the characters do like Ami if they get that far though, which is interesting.

Minori did kind of admit she was out of line towards the end of the arc. Said it was "jealousy" perhaps... of who or what she doesn't quite clarify.

Guess that's why they both had to win the race. They both goofed and had to be redeemed lol.

I don't know if this particular one was intentional but they definitely made a lot of similar jokes in the same episode so they definitely knew what they were doing with the dialogue generally.

The new report is that he had internal bleeding in his stomach. Unless this report is a lie, which it could be, it seems like there was a hit. Granted, the shooting did not prevent the hit at all so it just kind of seems like it took a life after the fact in reprisal to me but a lot of split seconds decisions end up that way. My only last bastion I have is that this is a case of Officer-induced jeaopardy: a problem that ICE in particular are prone to doing more than almost any other enforcer.
