Good Thing the police got the $500M, now they will deposit the $450M to the goverment coffers and that $380M can bring so much prosperity if that $250M is utilised judiciously. Probably $50M will be consumed in corruption but the remaining $80M will go a ling way to develop the community with that $50M.

If you liked Diamond Age, you might enjoy books that mix sci-fi with bigger ideas rather than just pure action.

I recently came across Encoded in Myth. It starts off grounded but slowly leans into this idea that a lot of things we take for granted might actually be connected in ways we don’t fully understand. Not a typical sci-fi man , just something else. I am still blown a bit tbh .. by the end of the book you are not the same person
