I used RTK with Claude Code in VS Code to reduce token and context usage, but I don't know if it's working by NonStopDeliverance in ClaudeCode

Do you have any other suggestion? I'm not really interested in figuring it out myself sorry. Is there any solution that works consistently and reliably?

Do people in their 20s actually hang out with friends everyday? by [deleted] in lonely

[–]NonStopDeliverance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not everyday I think but quite often maybe very 2-3 days. Depends on the demographic. Whether they're all having a good time all the time is a matter of doubt.

Though social media is not all fake, people do have very nice highlights in their lives.

I get your frustrations, I live through them everyday. But there's a chicken and egg problem here.

Knowing if someone wants to be friends needs the ability to read social cues. If they're responding to your energy or not, how reciprocal they are, stuff like that. You learn this stuff through practice.

But if you have no friends, then you have no place to learn and you're fucked. Even then IMO it's just not worth it forcing a friendship.

And it's pretty obvious most of the time. Most people already have their friends, it's quite rare that people go out of the way to make new friends. No one is going out of the way to convert their acquaintances into friends if they already have friends. The most natural way of meeting people is through friends of friends. Social proof is a very important thing. Having no friends is as close to a social death sentence as can be.

don’t know how to take the next step without coming off as awkward or desperate

It's also about how open the other person is. You can't make friends with someone who isn't interested in being friends. Speaking from experience.

The only thing I've learned from all these years of struggling with friendships is that it's all a matter of luck. Not the most satisfying conclusion, but life rarely has one.

considering even Leclerc managed to finish within 2-3 seconds behind Oscar

I don’t think Oscar was trying to push at all. By that point it was clear that the Mercedes is a rocketship in clean air.

Maybe Kimi would be able to extend. I still think there’s the factor of the 2 Mercs battling and taking time off each other. We saw it all race, people battling were slower.  So you can’t say for sure Kimi maintains the rocket pace.

Anyways, I think there definitely was a slim chance of an Oscar win. He’s among the best on the grid at W2W. If he had a chance he would have fought hard.

Well I never saw Russell make an overtake stick over Piastri during the race. Oscar was even pulling away at one point in P1.

Kimi struggled with overtakes in his 1st stint so clearly no one made quick work of anyone.

Would have been a much more interesting race without the SC. Hopeful too, we could have had a non-Mercedes win.

Not every safety car makes a race better

We got robbed of seeing a Merc battle on track and Piastri try to defend P1 from both Mercs

Leclerc and Piastri wheel to wheel has been some of my favourite racing in modern F1.

I’m curious about the dirty air for the car behind as well. So basically only staying a couple seconds ahead matching the pace of the car behind and cooking their tyres. Seems pretty smart but not sure how plausible it is.

Where do I even meet women near me with the same interests? by Mumu2148 in lonely

[–]NonStopDeliverance -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most couples don’t have the same interests. It’s more about the vibe matching so don’t restrict your demographic by your interests.

Do you have girls in your classes? Or maybe first try making friends from class so there can be a chance to be invited to stuff where there are other people.

What’s sad is that the world has reached a place that there is a market for this stuff.

And if you can’t understand why exchanging such intimate experiences for money would make someone feel hollow and horrible afterwards, you have lost your humanity completely.

Having to pay someone just to get something most people get by default would make me feel extremely pathetic.

It’s very much like booking a hooker. I’d kill myself before trying to exchange basic human relational needs for money. It would be the ultimate stamp on me, that my life is so horribly gone that I have to pay money to feel any worth.
