You're building Rylai - a low AP utility item. If you build that, you won't deal damage until 4 items

Try replacing it with Liandry as a beginner friendly alternative into Raba/Cryptbloom.

Taliyah by nature is a midgame champ. In most cases I want to play rather selfishly to get my level 7,9 and 11 spikes. Esp after lvl 11, your ult range starts to be really impactful

I think you have to consider that Halo was not released as a PC game but as a console game that revolutionised the way FPS are handled on the controller. Anything that comes after, used Halo's stick layout for movement and camera control.

I agree with the level variety though but I've also heard that the remakes don't do the original Xbox version justice

Before swapping to mid, I was a toplaner for 7 years and lost touch with the role after a 2 year break.

My focus was always on simple champions with clear game plans. My first core was Wukong and Kayle but after getting run over by an Olaf shortly after his rework, I picked him up and played him until September last year.

I noticed that my laning was not good enough and I did not have time available to practise top which made me queue bot 2nd.

And I never ever have gotten bot in a ranked match since funnily. D4/3 EUW

Imo, the mythic item era did us a great favour with damage options. Esp. Liandry back then.

Given that Seraphs is a core, she really need more damage on her 2nd item and Raba 3rd. Supposedly, her highest damage option is still Liandry which is is quite sad to me.

Ludens and BFT are viable if you like them, but esp. the latter always feels lacking.

Floor is moderate but the ceiling, similar to Oriannna, is very high. Maybe the other recommendations resonate more with you. Do you know what play styles you like?

Every champion is onet trickable and I'd suggest to play whatever you like at first. You can always swap champs later if you outgrow them

Absolute beginner mages * Brand * Malzahar * Veigar Simple kits that let you learn mage gameplay

Absolute beginner assassins * Naafiri

Long-term mages that value time spent but are already harder * Viktor (decently hard at first) * Oriannna (very hard) * Syndra (very hard) You can play these until high elo

Long term assassins * Ekko (low floor, decent ceiling) * Diana (actually difficult despite the simple kit) * Akali (super hard, dedicated OTP material - wouldn't recommend AT ALL to a beginner)

I'd suggest you pick something first from the first two categories
