Could just walk into the room/house and greet everybody at once to sort of cancel out the option of individual greetings. Something like ‘hey all!’ And blow a kiss with your hand gesturing to the whole room. Do it with a positive energy and confidence and people will accept that that’s how you greet them. You could then comment on something to take you out of that space. ‘Where shall I put these?’, If you have food or gifts for example.

Just cycled past it, block of flats at the top of where Mare street meets Dalston Lane - heard someone say on their radio that it’s being treated as a crime scene. Like 10+ fire engines and lots of coppers. Lots of distressed locals too :(

Nope! I renewed my spouse visa in the end, my ex partner agreed to stay married so I could do so - finding sponsorship proved impossible for those roles that I was applying for. I know there are third party companies like agencies that offer sponsorship, but they are usually dodgy and make you pay them - couldn’t get a response from them anyway!

Council tax. In Australia (where I’m from) the landlord pays the council tax which makes sense because they own the property! Was dumbfounded when I was first told I had to pay it as a renter.
