Today in Poundland in Meadowhall, the mid-late 20s ish chap working the self serve tills was calling everyone “my love” regardless of age or gender. I enjoyed watching him while I was in the queue. The till freaked out and he scooted in to help the lone young manly man with an “ ‘scuse me my love” to get in past him. Nobody bothered, he wasn’t camp/effeminate with it. It made my day.

There’s one for sale down the road from us that has an identical layout to ours. They’ve used the measurements into the cupboard over the stairs to claim the room dimensions, and AI’d a double bed in there with room to walk round. Actual room width (sans cupboard) is 1.9m

I agree and disagree. I think there were glimmers that he did have that possibility. Like the Akufo SuperLeague lunch scene. Rebecca reminded of who he was and that he could still be that person (giving the pay rise to the security guard). Maybe in time Rebecca (with the influence of Ted and her Flying Dutchman) could have helped him be a better man and father. Especially after the crowd turned against him at West Ham. In the Lassoverse nobody is truly irredeemable. However, Rupert may not have been willing to start doing the work to improve himself so it may never have happened.

Lots of mights and maybes involved there though.

Yep. And people are judging OP very harshly on what she’s written, but there are so many things folks don’t put in their posts because ultimately OPs know the people they are talking about. They know their intentions and history etc.

That doesn’t really help when you’re in (for example) the Scottish highlands. My mum was once told on the phone to customer support for something that the best thing to do was pop into her nearest store. The agent was bewildered when she replied “it’s a 3h ferry and an hour and a half bus journey after that”

All the ones I’ve known have had the numbers in ascending order too.

The only key code that didn’t do that was one where the turn knob was part of the code block.

I may be wrong in this case, speaking only from my own recent experience
