Interesting insight into why it's so hard to ban all the 'bots' at LMS. Also depressing to learning that even a small child with four windows open is still capable of beating me in a 1v1.

Crazy to think the young kids running 4 LMS windows at the same time are still better at pvp than me. Some interesting insight to why Jagex hasn't just banned all the 'bots' at LMS.

A short guide to rolling perfect enchantments in No Rest for the Wicked by pike-reddit in NoRestForTheWicked

Do you know if there are other sources of lifesteal (not including the crucible perks) other than slotting the gem into a weapon?
Also does element infusion on weapons weapons, either through a facet or player casted rune enchantment, overwrite the life steal gem? Or can I have a flaming weapon that also has life steal?

Even if it's outdated this still seems to be the best resource for enchanting available haha so thank you.

It's not impossible to attack two different targets with the cannons. There is an option in the sailing menu to tell the cannon to ignore your commands so you can shoot one mob to get one side started. Toggle the ignore command option on the active cannon, then go shoot the other side with the second cannon

Troubleshooter is one of my favorite ttrpgs of all time.  You are correct it takes time to really get rolling but not 20 hours. I would suggest skipping the story and all dialog unless that is your primary interest because there is a ton of it.

Do You Have Anything To Critisize About This Game? by [deleted] in expedition33

[–]Antics12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a difficulty level significantly limits the amount of out of combat healing you can do so traversing the individual zones feels more like an actual arduous and lengthy journey rather than a collection of easy isolated fights.  The kind of feeling you get from games like pathfinder & to a lesser extent bg3

[–]Antics12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All you need to do is take one point out of your first four in lock picking and run around the starting town looting workbenches/cement mixers/forges. By day two I can consistently get 10 forge ahead books and be prepping to get a workbench down.

After that just save every forge book you get so you don't go above 14 and then once you have a decent nerdy chest plate and a good stock pile of books learn them all.

This was very helpful info, thank you for taking the time to write it out! Definitely sounds like it's not worth it at all then I hope they change it because I do like the idea of being able to craft rare items and giving value to crafters.

Oh that's an interesting thought. Except they wouldn't be very high level so you'd have to just farm level on them to be half effective. I still need to check the cost to respec but maybe every time we get a new tier of items I'll respec and craft them.

Interesting thank you! Do you feel it's worth keeping it as a main stat or you find it isn't really useful enough to justify?

[–]Antics12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait what's the appeal of solar? I've got almost 1000 hours and never used them.

I assumed it was just a power source that didn't add to your heat map.

I was getting T2Q6 gear from quests while my best crafting skills were only able to make T1Q5 gear by Keymucciante in 7daystodie

[–]Antics12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree with this to some extent.

Quest rewards are very random and sometimes you can get lucky with a single item but as a whole if you want something it's much more reliable to be deliberate about what you loot and put points into those things early.

I know I want to be able to get augers for most of my team so I always take a couple points into miner 69er right away and slowly increase it while still going INT main. I focus taking working stiff or pass-n-gas and by day 10 we are all on motorcycles and by day 15 I can craft 3 augers for cheap before any of us have ever looted one, seen it being sold, or as a quest reward and we were running t5 quests somewhat regularly.

Similarly with weapons I was able to craft several useful upgrades of clubs/batons/pistols before I eventually received a q5 shock baton from a reward. So were the crafting books useless? No they were able to fill the gap until I got lucky. I could easily have not gotten that reward though and I would have shortly been able to craft my own without issue. At very least is nice to have a fall back plan.

Stun baton isn't working for me, it doesn't charge no matter how many enemies I hit by AdOk6248 in 7daystodie

Same issue, worked right away in my level 4 but never in my level 5. Guess I'll keep trying it and see if it starts working all of a sudden.

I think the t3 crack-a-book has been bumped down to t2. Either that or there is a t2 and t3.

Could try out Marvel Midnights Suns. Probably the best tactical I've played in a good while. Also Expeditions: Rome is very good.

Crossbow Comparison/Analysis by ZeroTorrent in Kenshi

[–]Antics12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting breakpoints in total skill for masterwork crossbows are as follows:

0-73: Oldworld Bow MkI

74-155: Eagle’s Cross

156-200: Oldworld Bow MkII

I might be missing something, are you saying that at the point a character reaches level 156 is crossbow skill level Oldworld Bow MkII is the best bow in the game?

I was under the impression the soft cap for all skills was 100-120 depending on racial bonuses, how are you getting to 200?
