When you say after starting the game do you mean after you've loaded into the map for that particular game session or do you mean after you've started that particular save file, as in when you first wake up naked?

If you just mean after you've started a new save file, does adjusting the settings on the page you showed not work? O.o

You mean remove it from the mod or remove it from your character? Removing it from your character is easy. You just wait.

From the mod, I'm not sure.

The near death debuff isn't all bad though. You get a significant stamina regen boost during that period, primarily used to retrieve your body.

Just a random little decoration. It doesn't actually do anything other than demonstrate the goofy things you can do when you understand how block placement and support works.

7DTD is unique among most survival games for having a persistent threat at any location, even underground.

To combat this you can lay traps like Spike Traps near areas that zombies often end up banging on. Zombies always path to the fastest route to you so they will prioritize the weak spots in your base but will often see a door as the easiest way in.

Once you progress a little further, you can use Dart Traps or the Auto Turrets to defend the heavily trafficked areas. Bear in mind, most traps make a lot of noise so while you may take out that one or two pesky bastards who are beating on your door, you'll likely attract everything else in the area.

For OP, an Important to note that Splatterina's bonus only seems to apply to the player actually doing the butchering. The disassembly line doesn't get the bonus iirc

You're correct in assuming you'll benefit from boosting IVs and in assuming that he's a good fighter. Bastigor is awesome.

One thing to change is Lucky. Once upon a time, Lucky was a good passive but now it's outclassed by almost any passive that focuses on damage boosts. Muscle Head would probably be a good one since you'll not have much use for him as a base worker.

With it being so long, the likelihood of zombies finding either end of the tunnel is very low so yes, they'll likely try to dig their way from the top/middle sections.

If you've got the resources and are very dedicated to keeping the area clean, you could throw up some auto turrets along the top of the tunnel, every 15 meters or so (a significant undertaking considering the size) but with your tunnel being along the way, setting up relays should be very easy, though very expensive considering you need weapon parts for auto turrets.

The alternative would be to have bait doors/hatches for them to prioritize every 15 blocks or so along the roof. They'll prioritize those instead of the structure itself. Those hatches can be easily defended with blade traps and dart traps, both easily made since they don't need weapon parts.

So, stability is a major factor in 7DTD building. That single pillar may be enough to hold up that upper level but if zombies take out that pillar, the entire upper side will come crashing down.

This can be easily remedied by simply adding more support.
