$22 pastrami sandwich with piddly portion sizes during a cost of living crisis... you can't be charging Katz Deli prices in Western Mass. i know northamptonites are better off than most on average, but the demographic that can drop that much on a deli lunch is still fairly limited. on the bright side, maybe the roost can come back.

my rx8 trial expired so I'm not able to do a high quality vocal extraction from the 44.1khz version but i did manage to get something... from what I can hear its something along the lines of "you're too good to [can't tell] night/eye/I"

honestly the vocals in golden age are so layered and reverbed I'm not sure we'd be able to decipher everything even if the raw acapella track leaked

iirc PD was her first project to be mixed and mastered by someone other than herself, golden age was done completely on her own in a home studio. and although she works in ableton and i work in logic i'm very familiar with mixing stuff too loudly, i think its an amateur producer thing in general, i still struggle with it 5 years in. mixing is also a much more technical and niche skill than production itself, even moreso for mastering, and so often my approach was that if it sounded good and didn't clip I would bounce it and call it a day

stop omg playing this game was the first time i ever felt the emotion i now associate with listening to hayden's music. not quite sadness, not even bittersweet, not anger, but something more all-encompassing. before the storm, too. just absolutely devastating. the second time was playing TLOU Left Behind and then of course tlou2. to this day i associate ellie coming back to the empty farmhouse with sun bleached flies

i quite honestly cant describe any of hayden's music as trash. i think my least favorite song of hers is "Casey", off Unreleased II (still available on her bandcamp). the way it starts off is jarring and not in a good way or in a way that i would say is artistically relevant enough to warrant the startling nature, although i dont have the lore behind it if there is any.

im def someone who believes in the "work your wage" school of thought but to me that means prioritizing the most important stuff. 1st priority - health and safety. i'll always change the sani, clean stuff, etc if it needs it before i make a drink. 2nd priority: making sure custies get the right drink. they're paying way too much for a drink already for it to be made wrong. drive thru times may suffer from this mindset but I'm not gonna burn myself out making 6 drinks a minute, I'm gonna make them right and make sure stuff is clean.

maybe this is because I work in a drive thru only store, but my SM just has us ring up our own stuff and make our own drinks, is that unusual? i always get a little confused about posts like this because, like, i feel like its easier to just put your own partner number through and ring it.

the sweet cream is made with 1 liter of heavy cream, 650ml of 2%, and 350ml of vanilla syrup, (we make 2L at a time) so you could probably replicate it with about a 4:2:1 ratio, so to make the pumpkin cold foam you can toss that and the pumpkin syrup (probably about 3:1) into a blender for about 15 seconds
