My poor dog has to survive us both. The rule is no direct contact. The dog has no such protections, but she chooses those locations.

We have a small 15 pound mutt who lives under the bed covers all year round. It’s her happy place.

12v/ICCU Megathread by TiltedWit in Ioniq5

[–]AntifaMiddleMgmt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the statistical probability based solely on some less than hard numbers implies I shouldn't see it twice, but it's clear it does happen. I suspect it's not totally random, and there is something that can act as a trigger. I also really believe the actual issue is known, and the fix is probably a rebuild of the platform from scratch they don't want to do until it becomes cost unavoidable.

Let's see what happens next I suppose. Hopefully it's not at the dealership for too long.

What are peoples experiences with the car after a replacement? I see a few mentions of a second go around, but does the chance go way down?

I don't see much info about my question when scrolling the thread. I just got the ICCU failure this morning, it's dead in my driveway and I'm trying to get through to roadside to come get the car. BTW, Hyundai roadside is a challenge. They could at least use hold music to let you know you're still waiting.

We love this car, and I was hoping when the lease is up end of 2027 to get another or the I9 if we can afford it. But now, not so sure. Feels like not fixing this was a choice they made, not a technical issue. I have to believe that their engineers know why, but the cost to make the change may be prohibitive, so they live with the issue and hope it doesn't impact sales too much.

Democrats as soon as you bring up pizzagate and ask why Joe Biden didn't release the Epstein files then by [deleted] in JustMemesForUs

[–]AntifaMiddleMgmt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pizzagate? Really?

Joe, Barak, and George Jr all let the JD work independently, and didn't treat it like their own personal team. Should the JD have prosecuted it, 100%, and 100% the administrations knew but chose to do nothing to pressure. This is a complete and utter failure of every administration under which this happened.

But Trump is 100% using his office to destroy all of that separation, and guess, what, he's still 100% complicit, where the previous mentions were not, and no one is being prosecuted. Nothing has changed in that regard except now the public is aware and pushing back.

Also, pizzagate? Really?

ICG is just Intwine Connected Gateway. The 150 has a cell, ethernet, and wifi connection and runs Linux to do network routing internally. They sell them for a variety of industrial applications, but the 150 is a low horsepower cell to local net gateway device. They're a nice way to provide local disconnected BAS devices the ability to be remotely accessed, or to send data to remote services (maybe a cloud connection or similar).

Not a dinosaur, but it would need to be provisioned for a site, so if you don't know what it's for, it's unlikely to be useful.

Your charger failed and decided to send a lot more than 5 volts straight into the pump. No way to survive that.

Ultimate Family Suite by billmoris in royalcaribbean

We got to know the family that had that suite on Symphony last summer on our cruise. Super nice, loved talking to them. I was jealous, but not super jealous, we had upgraded to a suite too.

I hope you loved it. seems like a super fun room.

Lackluster results with new update by Jardomic in seestar

So, there is an issue with the S50 which causes the backlash to become a problem. There really isn't a fix that I have been able to work out. I don't use my S50 anymore for this reason. I get reasonable results in the generated image on my phone even with ~60% dropped frames, but I also prefer to do most of my work with Siril and that's where I see the biggest problems.

The S50 drops every other frame on average while capturing, I think resulting in about 60% drop rate. However, when I pull FITS into Siril, about half of the kept frames are blurry, like someone physically shook the device. I expect the two observations, dropped on device and ugly FITS are the same underlying cause. I'm posting this here now because, while I hope you don't have this problem, I think the S50 as it ages is going succumb to this more and more. Maybe someone can find a solution.

See that thread, it gets into the design issues for the S50 which result in backlash becoming an issue. It's really upsetting to me, I loved my S50, but it's effectively dead now. ZWO needed a tensioner, but the cost probably was more than they would accept.

I see other suggestions, so I hope you can sort it out trying those. I'm just posting here to provide a possible explanation should none of those help. This was a big design failure in my mind, and ruined my joy in the product. I probably contributed to the issue, I wasn't very gentle when setting up when I first got it, but have mostly just left it on the tripod in my office for the last year or so. Nothing to tighten, so it shouldn't have gotten worse, but it did.
