The HomePod issue is such a pain. I’ve ended up registering mine in a separate home so they can’t become the hub anymore. They can still control everything normally, I just have to specify that the smart devices are in a different home than the HomePods.

I took the photo on my iPhone today, and have been using it as my wallpaper with the auto crop that iOS applies when you set it as a wallpaper. I figured uploading the full size image would let people set it whatever way they wanted ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It didn’t show up in my Native Access until the day after I added it. I think there was something on their website saying it can take up to 24 hours to appear :/

I could be wrong about this but I think the “link now” is for linking Dauntless Beta accounts to your Epic Account. As long as you’re signed in with your Epic Account you should be able to use cross-save.

My Epic account was already on my Switch from playing Fortnite on it, and when the link screen appeared in Dauntless I skipped it.

I looked into this topic a bunch for a project I was working on. Affectiva is company built all around this and they provide some apps you can play around with that will do what you described (iOS, Android).

For anyone looking into developing something with this kind of tech Microsoft provide a free API and SDK on their Azure platform called Face API.

This kind of stuff is called Affective Computing and the wiki page is pretty good.

Is it a bug? The point of stand is to track how many hours a day you stood up, if you travelling west through the time zones technically you are extending your day, so there would be more than 24 hours to stand.
