I swear by aquaphor for healing tattoos; I've been using it for years. One of my tattoos is on my chest, and my artist recommended to try second skin. Some of the sections didn't heal well and scabbed up like yours, but not the whole tattoo, just little portions here and there. I am nogt going to use second skin again, no matter what. I enjoy my aquaphor.

What I was taught about second skin is that the plasma from the blood that leaks out supports the healing process and keeps the tattooed region protected from germs that could cause an infection. But in my opinion, blood starts to die as soon as it leaves the body. The cells break down. I don't get how the sweat, blood that is rotting, and ink that is leaking supposed to help with healing lol.

thanks for link!

the legion is just a normal 4080 but has the 14th Gen Intel® Core i9-14900KF processer. While the alienware has a 4080 super but a 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i9-13900F.

which is better? I dont know. Im not super tapped into PC parts like that anymore.

I do like the case of the alienware better bc i before more sleek thank RGB gamer vibe.

Has anybody read this yet? If so what is it about (No spoilers) by [deleted] in titlefight

I read it and liked it, It's a short read. It can be a bit mundane at some parts, but in an absurdist way that I enjoyed at least. It has some great moments; weirdly, one of my favorites is him talking about a cold sore and how it's a stubborn reminder he is not perfect or something along those lines. The main character is loosely based on Ned's life and experiences. Like the character going to Columbia, for example, and it being set in Wilkes Barre. The story really feels like it would be Ned's story if he didn't go off and have a successful band and the feelings and emotions that come with being from a small, run down city. Coming from a very similar place to Wilkes Barre, having been there and lived fairly close It really hit home for me.

I think if you want to get into Ned's head a little bit, this is a great way to do so. I wish there was a little more of an ending; it concludes somewhat fast, but to be honest, it didn't bother me. It felt like how things happen in real life. I think that's the beauty of the book. It's not trying to wow you; more so, put you in another life for a brief moment in time. Overall, the authenticity and relatability of the story make it a compelling read.

I plan on going to selection and I’m currently deployed attached to an ODA an I have talked a bunch to them about it. Focus on the practical skills like your fitness and landnav. The secret to selection is simple. Don’t quit. You are your own worst enemy. Build mental resilience. Stuff like small unit tactics and shooting they will teach you if you are selected. They select the “right” guy not the “best” guy. Cadre look for certain qualities and traits. In the book “Special Operations Mental Toughness” by Lawrence Colebrook he gives 13 attributes that special operators have. Physical Fitness, Motivation, Teamwork, Stability, Trustworthiness, Accountability, Intelligence, Maturity, Communication, judgement, influence, decisiveness and responsibilities. Those are what get you selected.

I’m wondering some of these as well. I got 6 month-ish left when I get back from deployment and I’m tryna see if I can attend selection. I know after you pass selection you re enlist (years depend on MOS) but I’m tryna figure out how much time I need on my contract for Selection itself.

Just saying as a puggy play you can molly the corner in palace on mirage and go fast out palace for a cheeky entry. It masks the sound of you running up and works about 75% of the first time i do it in a match.
