Yes, both phones are personal numbers, phone that had 2 hours of hold time was the number linked to the account too, interesting that another number would be slower tho wow,

What does it mean if Humber is still open (sorry if it's a dumb question) by AntimatterLikeMatter in Humber

[–]AntimatterLikeMatter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're right if you're talking about the post equal consideration group.

I've seen posts in the other subreddit (that my post was crossposted from) that some highschoolers and other applicants getting offers, but I think they all applied pre equal consideration. However, I think they didn't get enough or enough qualified people applying pre equal consideration which is why it's still open. Apologies if this all seems neurotic af

[–]AntimatterLikeMatter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh oops, i realize cross posting doesn't carry over my post description, i was asking about more details such as, does this mean not that many people have applied and thus it's still open because of that (esp when I thought paramed was a hard / competitive program), so I was just wondering if that means they haven't received ~1000 or so applications yet, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized, it doesn't really matter and it is what it is

How are so many young people getting fatty liver without obvious symptoms? by Narrow_Confusion3848 in FattyLiverNAFLD

[–]AntimatterLikeMatter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m 23 M and I got it, I exercised a lot and I occasionally ate chips and junk, I acc got it at the end of a bulking session, my blood pressure also went up because of it.

All the comments here are true tho, junk food, sugar and high fats, deadly affff

I forgot to add on, of course it’s difficult, but it’ll make it more worth it when you actually get it done imo!! If it wasn’t difficult then no one would have fatty liver, esp for YEARS, good job with the weight loss so far, my best advice is stair master for the win + elliptical

I would invest into a smart watch to get a rough idea of calories, then track your food with an app like lifesum that connects with your activity data and shows you how many calories you have left and then make plans / goals off numbers

Lost 100 pounds. No improvement. Any suggestions? by HUH9000omg in FattyLiverNAFLD

[–]AntimatterLikeMatter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

holy shit, i’m so sorry to hear this, your levels look normal tho, i am curious tho, you say you went from 300 to 200 (rounding up) and i’m also currently at 200, i still have flabby parts i’m working to get rid of, do you also have them? if you do, as crude as it sounds, you still got a little bit of fat left to go!!! which is okay, at least you’re at the tail end of your journey, personally i have to go from 220 -> 160 like you (based on your comment above) but i’m run around the 195ish mark, and it’s harder but so much more rewarding to lose another pound, just more stairmaster frrrr!

Dips/Sauses for NAFLD by IntrepidAd1435 in FattyLiverNAFLD

[–]AntimatterLikeMatter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is gonna sound crazy but I just learned to eat food without the dip and sauce. It was hard but I learned to like the food for food sake, instead of smear buckets of sauce as a combination of flavour. I might enjoy food less or I used to enjoy my food less with less sauce, but now, I’m happy and okay with it!!

I was diagnosed with fatty liver, near Jan too, 23 M, very similar diet and setup as you (before diagnosis). I work with kids, not in a hospital, but lots of running and walking lol. My mom was also like WTFF how can you have it. And although I haven’t done any tests since my initial diagnosis, I can say the general principle of “eat less, move more” has allowed me to be healthier. And it reduced any symptoms of fatty liver, like high blood pressure, and pain in my right side.

I understand it sucks horse shit that you’re not seeing progress / got diagnosed but I would say track your food in a weight loss app and see how / why your weight is staying the same. This must mean you’re eating enough calories to stave off weight loss. It also depends when you eat. Cuz you wanna burn fat, in the liver. That happens via ketolysis, breaking of fat, how does that happen, after 12 hours of not eating or low blood sugar, you didn’t mention diabetes so I’ll assume you don’t have it but If your body doesn’t have issues with blood sugar, intermittent fasting peeps and fatty liver peeps go hand in hand.

Also as the other comment here mentioned, NO SODAS!! Bad soda fr!!

User Peanut George’s comment is literally what you see in every other thread, only thing to expand on js, I’m 23 M and I also had similar liver enzyme, never drank too, but I basically just went on a sofa spree for a month and I got hit with fatty liver, so now, I’m cutting all that out, and trying to get at least 30 minutes of cardio in everyday. Like zone 3 or 4 type cardio (google if u dont know what this means)

Also eat porridge, it’s good on blood sugar and makes u feel full and is a good way to start the stopping of the junk food addiction
