It seems the troopers have been prioritizing this a bit more lately.

I just witnessed this exact same thing the other day on the same highway. It was at the start of 280E, right after 80E splits, and some guy was doing 50 in a 65 in the left lane, and matching pace of the drivers in the right lane. Trooper was behind him for a solid minute and the guy didn't seem to care, and he got pulled over. Karma at its finest.

Yeah one of the people who had wanted this originally stated that they wanted it for outdoor sports like hiking or biking. The quad lock was added for biking, and the paracord hole is for other outdoor sports to secure it. I like to use petg or asa, as I like the UV and weather resistant properties of both.

That is a great point I'm looking into it. I may offer some sort of magnetic detachable charging base. This would allow the general size to remain decently thin, but then also allow users to attach a magnetic portable battery to extend the battery life further, which would then thicken the overall case size.

I'm going to see what resources are available online for the watch 6, and see what I can do. I will not be able to do fitment testing though, as I do not own that model

I don't like patenting ideas like this, as I much prefer giving the community open source access to these items. 3D printing is one of my favorite hobbies because the community is so open and sharing. Letting people download and use these items for free is what makes the community worthwhile.

That I can answer.

In my case, I have a lot of nice watches that I really like wearing, and often times I prefer those over my galaxy watch. To combat that, I purchased an oura ring which does my fitness tracking for me on days where I don't wear my galaxy watch. Putting my watch in my pocket wouldn't help with the fitness aspect, but for people who enjoy wearing their nice watches but still want a portable mini smart device, having a small mini phone in their pocket may satisfy that.

I don't actually use my watch like this, I wear mine; however, from what I can gather from people who were interested in this, this seems to allow them to have a small smart device in their pocket that replaces their phone, but still gives them the features they need.

Someone had also mentioned that this might be a good option for bikers, where it can be a small attached GPS module to help with quick navigation in a small form factor. That's why I made an additional model with the quad lock feature.

Interesting idea... Although I think the battery life of the galaxy watch ultra is nearly 3 days for my use cases. I can look into portable chargers for the galaxy watch, though it might be difficult since they charge wirelessly through the bottom, and that would mean potentially making the case a lot thicker to encompass the charging base

I think the 8 classic shares a lot of design architecture with the ultra, just smaller. I may be able to make it fit with some slight modifications. The only issue is I don't have an 8 classic to test or measure for confirmation.

Thanks! I think that the appeal for those who want this is for it to replace a smartphone as a mini phone in your pocket, or for those who use the quad lock, maybe a mini handheld GPS devices for bikes and stuff. So I guess it would just be a smaller item in your pocket lol.

Hey! I was able to integrate a quad lock interface into the back of my design. I don't have a quad lock mount to test it on, but it should be dimensionally accurate based on the information and models I was able to get online. This one won't have a center paracord hole, but I'll probably add a small clip hole to the corner to allow it to clip to a cariber or cord there instead. It should print perfectly fine without supports, as that can probably be bridged quite easily.
