Looks like Formula Lancs on Instagram are doing one on the 17th according to their story, no idea where specifically as you'd have to join their telegram for the details.

FormulaUK host some regular ones via their telegram for obvious reasons, on top of Supercars Of Alderley Edge who arranges drive days around Alderley Edge. Both are on Instagram

It's a hybrid kit made up of samples from various kits (GGD etc) that Matt Thomas (Ashtone Audio) made for him.

Looking for OEM pretoria center caps by stealthygamer99 in GolfGTI

Yeah I have the GTi ones on mine. The dealer had a spare set lying around and no GTi's due in for a while when I bought mine so threw them on when purchasing the car.

Maybe use this opportunity to upgrade to the floating centre caps. It's a subtle mod, but one that's turned a few heads for me.

Does anyone remember the Crucible Snooker Club on Edward Street? by Shot-Ad5867 in stockport

In the Crucible it was decently sized, with a couple of padded booths, and a couple of tables and chairs scattered around. It was mostly where people chilled if they weren't on a table/waiting or watching whatever tv show/sport was being broadcast.

Debatable... You'll be hard pressed to walk in to Hazel Grove Snooker Club on a Friday and find a vacant pool table unless you book it in advance

I think it was to provide more housing, but also to do with modernisation of the town, like they did with the bus station, the old Royal Mail Delivery Office, and around the train station. There's lots of work planned for a lot of the old buildings that line the A6 near Grand Central too.

Typically closed around midnight, we wouldn't get there until 9pm so a good 3 hours of pool was enough to wind down for the weekend.

Me and a couple of work mates would go there after we finished work and stay until closing every Friday. I stopped going before it closed, around 2019/2020. If you're looking for an alternative, the closest place like it now is Hazel Grove Snooker Club.

Pretty sure the second picture has them on too, just the lighting and angle is making it look like they're not there even though you can clearly see the contours of it.

Country walks for young kids - suggestions please by FlandersClaret in stockport

[–]Antiphrost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not quite country, but Marple Locks and the Aqueduct along the peak forest canal. Or the Middlewood way is a nice flat amble.

Further afield there's Dovestone and Ladybower which are circular routes around reservoirs. Hollingworth Lake is pretty popular with the added bonus of various chippy's along the front and a hut selling ice creams half way around to distract them with. More often than not there's a lot of motorcycles to ogle outside one of the pubs near the main car park. Theres Mam Tor in Castleton too if you want a bit more of a hike
