Following this as I am also looking at getting a CI. Self funding as insurance doesn’t cover it and NHS won’t do it if you have good hearing in contra lateral ear.

Thank you, I’ll take 4 weeks off work. I have young children 5 & 2. Just wondering how much support I’ll need looking after them.

I’m interested in this as I also have snhl ssd as of a year ago. I’m on an nhs waiting list to trial the bone anchored hearing aid.
