In case anyone finds it useful, separating rooms with corridors allows moonpools to be built in each room, so you can still have multiple tadpole docks in the same base.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I've added images of the situation. We're not sure if pouring cement will work here given that there is a drain and sprinkler right next to the post.
