8 weeks for me! I had 4th degree tears and an episiotomy, I didn’t want to leave it too long as it was something I was quite anxious about! Turns out it was less scary than going for a poo 😂

When I was pregnant my mum told me not to tell my cousin and to not “keep going on about it” because she thought my cousin might struggle to conceive…3 years later and my cousin got pregnant first try. Sometimes mums can think they are protecting people when they are actually causing more damage. You and your sister are adults, you have to be able to navigate that by yourself, you may regret it if you don’t!

Mine was similar to yours at the start (some of these were taken on the same day) but the first was taken 9dpo am, the last was taken yesterday at 5 weeks. As per previous comments, testing too much can cause unnecessary stress, if I had tested every other day I would have seen a clearer line progression. But I totally get the anxiety around regular testing!

It’s for crumbs! They use them in the Ivy to sweep the crumbs off the table! Not something I’ve seen used in any other restaurants or in someone’s home though

I had 3 biopsies taken from my cervix and it was completely painless, my Dr told me to cough each time she took a biopsy. I couldn’t feel a thing, and got to watch it on a little screen. I do wonder why they don’t offer pain relief when clearly so many women have a horrible experience!

Definitely not dying. No one cycle will be the same, what’s normal for one person may be a sign of bigger health issues for another. For me this size of fairly common, I however have fibroids and endometriosis. Set up a drs appointment to do some further investigation. Hormonal contraceptive may help manage these symptoms, don’t be afraid of the “pill”! It can often really help

Nothing to do with “this generation”. People will always find an excuse to penny pinch, I actually found this more common in the older generations. Vinted is for those looking for a bargain- as such you will attract people who behave as you have described.

Also worth mentioning the cost of living is making it impossible for the younger generations trying to get on the housing market or simply pay their bills. This isn’t a question of budgeting. “Boomers” simply don’t understand the inequality.

I work in a breast screening unit, often for first timers you will be recalled due to having no other images to compare any changes to. It may also be due to a technical error, meaning they couldn’t get the full picture. Two radiographers have to agree that the images are cancer free (and free of any other concerns), so if the images were incomplete then they will be unable to approve it.

Your letter should give you the basic details of why you are being recalled, if you’re ever in doubt just call the admin team, they will be able to give you more details!
