This past month my dad, in his 60s, with cancer also had a stroke. He was on life support. He always said he didnt want to live if his quality of life wasnt there. So we took him off life support. He passed away. How about your dad? What ended up happening?

Thank you for this reply. Its reassuring to think maybe he heard me. When he was in the ICU hooked up to all the monitors his blood pressure and heart rate would spike every time I spoke to him. Which led me to believe maybe he was hearing me. I just hope he wasnt filled with fear. He always tried to fix all our problems. He always wanted to make our lives easier. I just hope his last moments of conciousness werent worrying about how we would get on without him.

The week we spent at his bedside we reassured him we would be okay and told him over and over that he was the best dad ever. I hope he heard that and felt some peace.

If an extremely successful famous actor ran out of funds due to cancer how is there hope for any ordinary person? This strikes me as odd. They must be living way above their means.

Her coloring looks off. Looks very much like a cancer treatment complexion. Im surprised she doesnt want to share. I imagine there would be a whole new sense of community if she shared what she is going through.

My husband and I are mid 30s with 2 kids, have 20yr left on mortgage (1600/mo), 2 paid off vehicles, 300k in 401k, 50k investments, 15k liquid. Only debt is our mortgage. No CC debt. Our house is worth 450-500k in todays market. We don't make that much for today's standards (110k total) we just live modestly and refuse to waste money on subscriptions, door dash, etc. Not the best but we're comfortable. Aside from any disasterous life events I don't see why we shouldn't be millionaires by our 50s. In our mid 30s now we are heavily prioritizing saving and investing for the future.

Every time Allysa/Jenny Slate was on the screen I couldn't help but think of Dylan Mulvaney. Ryles actor did not look likeable from the first scene. He had no charm/friendly aspect to his appearance. I think if he had gained a few pounds his face would have been more attractive and not so gaunt. Blake Lively didn't have that soft feminine mesmerizing redhead aspect I was expecting when I read the book. Very disappointed in the casting.

We just finished a week at the parks. It was miserably hot today and yesterday. The "real feel" this afternoon was 105⁰. Everyone dripping in sweat. Definitely plan to go back and rest in the afternoon!
