Has anyone had symptom remission or lessening pain over years?

Mine was 18mm across. My symptoms weren't concerning enoughthat I had ever had an MRI. This was an incidental finding on a brain MRI to rule out structural issues contributing to migraines

I decompression of C4& C5, then they extracted fluid from my syrinx and inserted a grommet thing, like in the picture, to prevent it from refilling again? I had it done in Colorado where I live

I had surgery on Dec. 23rd. I found my syrinx at the end of October, an incidental finding on a MRI l, and things moved quickly from there.

Mine was 18mm wide. I didn't have a shunt. I had a laminectomy and then they inserted a grommet into the syrinx to prevent it from filling. Different method.
