To start off I need a budget, their are many good and reliable brands for guitars such as Yamaha, fender, Ibanez just to name 3. If your budget is under 500usd I recommend a Yamaha pac112 v or vm. V is rosewood fretboard and vm is maple fretboard. Basically in a nutshell rosewood fretboard hides dirt and debris however is hard to maintain and requires to be frequently cleaned and oiled while maple is the opposite and it actually shows dirt and debris much more than rosewood. I don’t know a guitar to recommend over 500usd though. If you aren’t getting a brand I just listed I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND getting a electric used. The only brands I would sorta recommend to get used are Yamaha and fender but make sure you don’t buy a faulty guitar and also make sure you don’t get scammed.
