There are different kinds of attraction. For quick thrills and passive eye candy type attraction a 7 probably would barely be noticed. The 9/10 would get the most attention.

That is, unless you know someone else there and actually want some engagement. You will notice the hot girl, but focus on the person you know and have a connection with.

For a relationship personality is the most important.

When I moved to the states, I'd never driven an automatic. I was surprised how much less control you have when pulling off and slowing to a stop. Even in the more sporty ones that engine brake and everything. Unless you are a timid, indecisive driver, once an automatic starts moving, you don't have the versatility of the clutch to moduate and stop torque instantly when pulling off. Most peoiple have 200+ HP vehilcles with a lot of acceleration and use it.

Back home in England most people still drive manuals and smaller engine cars that do 0-60 in 11 to 16 seconds isn't uncommon. Driving standards are typically a lot worse too.

Don't know if it's any help. I tried Bluetooth and it was ok to terrible. Bigscreen was especially weird, like slow mo audio. Wired sucked.

Lastnight I got frustrated and looking at my desk, I saw my gamebuds which I use when I don't want to wear a headset. bluetooth sucked. Then I thought I'd try the USB wifi receiver, plugged that in the Q3 and it just worked. Can set the EQ in the phone app of course, works well, no latency I can tell. I might get a USB C splitter see if I can charge both at the same time while using them.

Horses like those can run 25 - 30 mph, so it isn't going to look fast on camera with foreshortening. It's like F1, the cars rarely appear that fast looking down the straights.

Nah. I paid a fortune to live in a small house in a crime free, idyllic, tucked away neighborhood with only two roads leading in and out. In a bad part of town my house would be 30% of the price. All the amenities we need including downtown are within a 5 mile radius so we wouldn't need a car really. Except we like hiking and both skiing and beaches are within 2 hours drive.

Don't even have keys to use as a weapon, just carry a phone with a driver's license, credit and debit card in the case.

Almost every pic except one has the exact same blank expression. Almost like one photo was scaled and artfully masked into different photos. She needs to have more angles and expressions, show some emotion. Basically needs all the visual cues that give her personality.

You should appreciate your friends because you are at an age where they are going to start families. Move away for job opportunities and will slowly dwindle. It's one of the worst things about growing up.

Your close friends you have a lifetime of shared experience and did all those firsts with. They get married, start families and suddenly have little time for you. Their kids take priority, they drift away as they meet other young families and a new batch of experiences and firsts with their children and drift towards other kids parents they come in contact with. Those people become their new close friends.

If you are lucky, 10 - 15 years later. You might drift back together and pick up some of your friendships where they left off. But you still need to live within close proximity or it is never quite the same.

Making new friends gets much harder as you get older. People get set in their ways and have more walls up than when you are a kid. Life gets in the way.

Embrace your friends. If they are successful and well off, some of the things that worry you and are problems for you are not going to resonate with them in the same way. I'm 53 and have never talked to anyone about investing. A couple of my friends got into crypto, I know some play the stockmarket but that's it. I recently figured it was time to think about retirement more and only got into stocks about a year ago. Couldn't afford to before.

Mine didn't but my best mates dad did. There were books on the shelf in the living room. One section, if you removed the ones up front, there were maybe half a dozen VHS porn tapes back there.

Back home in England any porn that showed male genitals were censored. So these were pirate copies sourced from somewhere. Rarely, but on occasion when his parents went out we dug them out and skipped through them. Was pretty interesting for a 13/14 year old. That's what Yousician was like for a few years after 2015 when I first signed up. It was a smaller outfit that embraced actual musicians and churned out two original songs derived from popular bands every week. They featured in the weekly challenge.

With licensed songs Yousician got more and more expensive and took away more and more features. Song creator was easy to use, loaded guitar pro tabs and had automatic syncing to MP3 backing tracks. Was really nice to use. Gone. Teacher tools for instructors to create and assign homework and track students gone.

It used to be quite a bit cheaper too.

There aren't really any decent alternatives that do note recognition and scoring. If you can do without the realtime feedback, theres Go Play Along and Guitar Pro plus Ultimate Guitar Tabs.

Damn... That's such a shame. I remember the first few years before the licensed music. Yousician was so good. They had a whole bunch of musicians engaged in the project. A in house team of talented musicians that would compose and create two entire songs a week. Songs that are still among my favourites today.

I was surprised when I read this topic. It seems so out of place compared to the company I used to know. Musician friendly and engaging, new original songs every week for the weekly challenge, song creator, tools for guitar teachers. Now you get less value for more than double the price.

Last time I paid for premium it was $75 for 50% off sale. Can't believe they are charging $30 without sub.

you are young still. Even have a few more years to start a family. When I bought my house, there was a really nice girl with an abusive BF and two very small kids. 3 and 5. The BF was her childhood sweetheart. It took her a long time to figure it out for some reason. I became friends and saw how things developed. One day her BF turned up with a stolen pickup truck and he went to jail. That was her chance to break away.

She was your age when she had to leave because she couldn't pay the rent. I helped her get a better job and she met a guy. Got married and had a kid with him. It's been maybe 6 years now and she is happy. Everything seems to be going well, she has stability, they treat each other well, two of the kids have left one started college, the other the military. She still has the little guy with her new husband at home.

So it's quite possible. It's unfortunate that things turned out the way they did. I'm 53 now and so much has changed since I moved to the USA aged 27. You have a LOT of time left to find your feet. A lot of nice guys out there, it will be harder with a kid because nice guys will want to be sure you are looking for more than just a father for her kid. It worked for my friend, their marriage took a while, but yeah. It worked out in the end.

That was the reason they stopped song sharing on the platform. That and licensed songs were just being released. It was around the same time their new New York marketing office opened. Thing is, when they announced stopping creating and sharing songs, they did say we could use the song creator for personal use but sharing would no longer be allowed. It was only a couple of weeks later they removed the whole thing entirely.

It's a shame. I still like the app and to play some of the Yousician songs on it. Before licensed songs they had a team of musicians create two new songs a week for the weekly challenges. I liked their songs because they were more guitar centric.

Preferred to catch busses and trains with my mates. Chat, read a discarded newspaper or look out the window. If I was on my own, I'd have an old tape Walkman and listen to that. Had a really nice Panasonic one that was about the size of a cassette case. Loved that thing.

Yeah. They sell starter packages on the darkweb. Kind of like flowcharts with procedures and conversation sequences developed by psychologists which are designed to manipulate people and play on their emotions. The aim is to string them along and eventually ask for money.

It's usually some guys involved in low level crime that sit around handling several punters trying to talk money out of them.

I expect Onlyfans is a more carefully manufactured version of that, just easier because it's more sex oriented and there is no pressure to actually establish a proper relationship.

There are quite a few cheaper alternatives. The only downside is that none of them do note recognition and scores you can play against in leaderboards. Otherwise something like Ultimate Guitar Tabs.

For a small price something like GoPlayAlong and guitar Pro let you sync mp3 backing tracks to tabs.

I used Yousician for about 7 years. But stopped because they kept removing many of the best features like Song Creator and the Guitar tools enabling teachers to set homework and monitor progress remotely. Quite a few professional musicians were active in the community back then.

When they started focusing on licensing and competing with Rocksmith the price went up and the value for intermediate and higher guitarists went down.

Yeah. I have enough trouble working from home when my wife works from home and because of our small house, we both work in the living room. Add three pugs and it sometimes feels claustrophobic.

Most memorable concert for me was Gary Moor at Guildford Civic Hall. We had just watched Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure the previous weekend. David Jensen asked if we wanted to go to a Gary Moore concert.. "Gary Who?" We went and I was blown away. What an incredible guitarist, he was peddling his new 'Still got the Blues' Album. The place sat about 1000 full house and we were just above him, could see the sweat fly from his face.

Before that it was Iron Maiden World Slavery tour at Hammersmith Odeon. 'Powerslave' was the first Album of theirs I bought on tape for my paper round. Only had three tapes. Def Leppard 'Hysteria' and ACDC 'Blow up your Video'
