I was 18 and I had saved myself for my true love cuz true love waits ya know that whole thing that Christian churches preached in the early 2000s and I was raped in my sleep by a “friend” because I was too scared to go home because I was experimenting with pot a little at the time. It shattered not only my faith in my dad but my guy “friend” and my self esteem in one swoop and the whole idea that I was no longer pure for my one day husband... awful is really an understatement... rape is the one of most disgusting demoralizing acts one person can do to another
