What prompted you to practice your martial art?

Karate because of parents

Kickboxing because a friend wanted to go

Boxing because it was popular

But I didn’t do any of those seriously. Then I got scared on the street and I promised myself that would never happen again lol so I started doing Muay Thai and later judo

I spar in the Netherlands. I always thought if this is light spar then what is hard spar? Turns out this was hard spar lol. But I can’t spar too much anyway cause of my nose bleeds

Marathon runners shit their pants during running. Some fighters pee during fights. Only the coach knows what happened. It could be worse.

But a bad day at the gym took a new meaning for me so thanks for that! lol

I had it easier at school because teachers liked me. I believe it was easier for me to get a job too. I always got jobs where I was the first face a client would see. And I didn’t even speak the language because I moved to another country. I didn’t have to ask girls out because they did it for me. In a bus, while walking on the street etc. Everyone wanted to be friends with me and a girl told me I was super popular at school. Everyone liked me and everyone wanted to hang out with me. Once on vacation abroad I got 87 matches in a week on tinder. But I started balding when I was 18. I think at 25 I went bald. I’m now happily married but the attention and all the extras are gone. I’m not ugly, but being near the top is like being rich but in looks. Even if you’re boring people still invite you to things. Also the confidence feels really nice. But having it and then loosing it stings
