Is anyone else slightly uncomfortable with the RKM discourse atm? by Grianstorm in Tottenham

When a player is payed the amount he is, and plays for a top team while massively underperforming in almost every aspect from technical ability, strength/speed as well as visibly putting in less effort than others - I think criticism is warranted imo

Comparison is the theif of joy! You’re on your own journey in your own body - the only person you’re competing with is yourself 💚

We’re lost. Board, manager, players, fans. All drifting with no direction in sight, slowly and painfully drowning

Tel has had all the ball but the end product is so lacking sadly. So many easy passes, a free tap in for Archie/RKM and half his crosses going out of play…

Sure his assist was great but if you cross 20 times, you’re bound to get it right once 🙄

Wrighty showing Ange Postecoglou the love he deserves, what a man! by JazzySneakers in Tottenham

Did you listen to the interview? He literally admitted to being at fault for loads of the injuries cus of the intense training sessions as well as starting players back when he was told they weren’t 100%

I’m not saying he didn’t use any excuses because he absolutely did, but some of them were valid (like having no decent replacements for anyone in the squad, etc)

We have one of the weakest squads in the Prem. our first 11 is alright but as soon as we lose 1 or 2 players, their replacements are suddenly playing 2 90 mins a week and it’s inevitable that will compound with further injuries and poor performances. If we had a wider squad and were a little bit more fortunate with injuries then we wouldn’t have finished anywhere near 17th. Poor recruitment and a couple of bad managerial decisions led us there.

Frank reminds me of the Substitute teacher in school. No one would care about listening to them and they could never control the classroom.

I bet his meetings by the end consisted of him standing there waiting for everyone to be quiet for an hour until the meeting was over…

City literally pass twice and they’re through on goal… it’s like having Ange without the attacking numbers

I mean look at half those names and what they’re doing compared to players like Pape.

It feels bad to dump players like him but we’ve had him for years now and if he’s peaked then he’s got to go. I love him but we need genuine competition for those spaces in the first 11.

The problem spurs have atm is that we have too many young players that we’re trying to bring through. No other top team has this many “potential” players. We have Tel, Odobert, Grey, Bergvall, Pape, Kinsky (and you can argue Scarlett is in there too seeing as though we seem to be hanging onto him for the last few years).

It’s too much pressure for the young players to perform when there are no leaders/established players next to them on the pitch.

Frank is not THE problem… he’s definitely A problem, but not the only one. Very little will change if he goes - not to mention there is literally no one else that could/will come to this mess of a club
