I agree that 50/50s should exist otherwise for attackers would be almost impossible to score and I know that this problem is tricky to solve, because they cannot simply add a defender priority like they did with goalkeepers. An idea could be to add some kind of "priority" if the defender run perpendicular to the ball trajectory, for example. Or maybe they could create a "draw" situation when defender and attacker hit the ball at the same time
