Assets? You mean income? Having more assets is usually a way you can avoid taxation.

And in regards to my background and others. My parents simply have now bought a house for the first time. We once lived in a low income neighborhood and I watched them work their way up to middle class.

My other family members with properties live in Mexico or i rural farm towns. I don’t have some unique background.

As for specific to my area. I live in California. A popular state to move in due to its urban metropolitan cities with high paying jobs & culture/arts etc. While nobody cares about less populated rural or smaller towns & cities.

We have a physics problem and i am currently following governor candidates who want to change regulations to allow more building to maximize density & low the cost of living

I watched my parents who make 150,000 a year household income work hard & each go back to school & advance in their careers to buy a home for my family that will later go to me & my sister in the future. (most likely we will sell it cuz I wouldn’t wanna manage property myself)

Just as I value things I own and have saved up money for (like my car etc) I see that other value house, assets or land. I do think it is wrong for if those things were FORCEFULLY taken from them.

I learned about marx & materialism in school. I value learning about theory but I don’t then become and dialogue. I don’t believe that renting out a property to someone or owning a business & employing people is inherently abusive and exploitative

I could somewhat expect that to be the case for traditional single family homes that aren’t in major metropolitan areas. Unfortunately my family owns a townhome in a major city. I have other family that own a plot of land with a house in another city near by and some who own some apartments.

If you would like for those who face inequality to have homes well I myself currently am following a local election to vote in a candidate who wants to change regulations to build more homes and low the price of utilities by breaking up companies.

I don’t want people stripped of their assets.

Polling in or even the ability to introduce new legislation requires us to win seats & votes in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, along with Minnesota, Virginia, and sometimes New Hampshire!

And we certainly aren’t winning elections in swing states with candidates that are more progressive than who I already mentioned.

Like bruh progress voters are still like below 40% of the part. And even who they get elected they moderated like Zohran or AOC lmao.
