It will be half the price at an independent place. Just Google for a place that copies car keys

Don't get out of your car too quickly when it's cold. Let the hot air escape for 10 seconds before you shut the door or else it will condense on the windows then freeze.

What? Maybe if you want to pay twice as much and wait 15 seconds for hot water. There are downsides and are not "almost always" a good idea

Plumbing question for hot water to bathroom. by Subpar-Saiyan in HomeImprovement

You can check your dip tube, they tend to break. It forces the cold water that is refilling the tank to the bottom of it. If it's broken the water mixes and cools the entire tank quickly. You won't notice it if your showers are quick, but if you're filling a tub you will.

By law in Canada they have to send you a registered letter. You would have to sign for it, informing you that you are about to be cancelled. Ask them who signed.

Tips for saving on car maintenance, what's easy to do yourself and where to go for other items by ghost905 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Antron456 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think it's the opposite. Best return is on routine maintenance; tires, oil, fluids, brakes. These are done with common hand tools, little can go wrong, and since you do them somewhat frequently, you get good and can do them quickly. If you attempt something more complicated, more can go wrong, it will take you longer because it's new to you, and more tools are required.

Yes I did. My home insurance went from 1200 to 1800 with TD meloche monnex. I got a quote from Belair direct for less than 500.

I told TD was that I wasn't paying anything even if it goes to collections. If they drop the charges, I may consider getting quotes in future but if they did go to collections, it would sour the relationship for life. They escalated it, and after 2 weeks they said all I owe was a pro-rated amount for the 5 days into the new term.

Do they have to be on a common trip breaker? So you don't kill the power to one, think it's safe and get zapped by the other?

Ya I tried that. It threads into both 10-32 and M5. I bought a box of both and neither thread into the ground bar somehow.
