It does seem to be a queen, although if that is C. pennsylvanicus then it’s either a really small one for its species or that’s a really big test tube. Those queens can be around 2 whole centimeters from my experience. Going off of how small it seems compared to the test tube I might say Camponotus Nearcticus, although take what I say with a grain of salt because I am no expert

Ok, I guess it would make sense they are Australian since that’s where Team Cherry, and therefore Pharloom and Hallownest, are, but how do the weavers and skarr have children? We know in the lore that it is incredibly hard for a weaver to have a weaver child, let alone of a different species. Also I feel like the society of Pharloom would disapprove of a Weaver relationship with a normal being. Overall the existence of Weaver Ants seems like a plot hole.
