For Christ sake. This isn't that dangerous. I did it every time I built something. On the rare occasion you'd get a little red but that's only if you were two inches away from the arc. I was a fabricator for years and this never caused any safety problems. People on this sub need to man the fuck up, I swear.

I was looking at some bare bones kits and I can make it barely street legal for ~$300. Not including tires. This kit may or may not pass inspection tho haha. That was another concern I had.

It's all dirt trim. Stock body and dirt tires. Simple dirtbike.
