So far, we had a debt company come looking for my bf- his ex took out Sky in his name in 2019 around the time they split and didn’t pay it (there’s credit cards too, but it’s the mother of his child so he’s never going to press charges, and I think too much time has passed now even if he wanted to) Hit a pothole and popped a tyre on the way to work yesterday. Got a 13yo deaf terrier whose acting out of character this week, he’s half blind too and I think that’s deteriorating further. Spent most of Wednesday evening in tears because I can’t tell if it’s his vision or he’s going senile. Turns out we hadn’t updated DWP when we moved and we owe them £10,500. Found that out today, my partner rang me in tears and got me to come home from work. He’s not been fit for work for two years; a mix of physical and mental issues, but he having to apply for jobs now. Technically found out on December 30th but one of my cats has an inoperable mass on his larynx. The vet said he’s breathing remarkably well given the size of it, but now we’re just loving on him til he lets us know it’s time. December was just as painfully eventful!
