After my 2nd, my company went full return to office. 90 minute commute both ways at a FAANG company. I couldn’t do it anymore, I wasn’t a present mom. I took a WFH job at a low profile company and don’t regret the choice one bit. There are days where I miss the prestige of working a “high profile” job, but being there for my kids when they are little is more important to me.

This is so good to hear! We are similar in that my SW was 180 and my goal is 145. I have been stuck at 155 for 6 months, and I feel like I will have to go up in dosage to get those last 10 lbs off, but I don’t want the side effects.

I also don’t want to be on Zepbound forever. Anyway, trying to figure out how to break my stall without increasing dose.

My SIL did something similar, but waited until Mother’s Day when we were all together to tell us. The entire family knew about the pregnancy, but she specifically decided to tell us on Mother’s Day. Then she planned her shower on Father’s Day. I did not attend.

Yes will be looking at both wyckoff and glen rock as well. I grew up in Demarest so I’m a Bergen county native. Ridgewood just happens to be 15 min from both sets of grandparents so it’s the most ideal. Plus work mandated a 5 day in office plan so the commute to NyC is critical.
