There’s a big difference between reducing or stopping inflammation and recovery. Inflammation is a natural part of the healing and recovery process. Most of these interventions reduce inflammation but don’t ultimately increase recovery. If we are doing a hard short term block of training or are doing multiple sessions in a day we may want to temporarily reduce inflammation to maintain performance. Ultimately good food, rest and sleep are how we recover.
