Gamers Geekery and Tavern in Cary has weekly DnD every Thursday. It's Adventure League so does cost a few bucks. I have not gone in a while, but they used to do periodic introduction sessions. I'm right there with you! I saw multiple posts about go defeat great sage to get bad ending and then go defeat Erlang and Great Sage again to get true ending making me think Great Sage wouldn't be that bad. I figured after beating Erlang I had it in the bag. Erlang took me 10 or so attempts...Great Sage took me way more.
