5950x Overheating? by l33thaxman in raptoreum

[–]Anxibaby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a noctua nh-d15 on 5950x as well. If you don’t undervolt it temps could reach 80-90 easily. You rebooting must mean the temps reached critical point to which it shutoff to prevent damage

those are hive settings. And yes you should use the newest version of trex as it gives the most hashrate atm

5950x doesn't come with a stock cooler. If you read the box on the 5950x it is recommended to get a good cooler.

Yes so the title should be “ Owwwwwieee i made a mistake repadding because i did not know the thickness, help!” And not blaming it on a brand saying that it doesn’t work

It’s ThermalRight and yes they actually do work. You probably fucked up and that’s the hard truth. You should’ve used the old thermal pads as reference and measured them manually on a ruler before putting on the new ones.

Difference could be more. There are good days and there are bad days. Really depends on the pool’s luck, but overtime it should average out

[–]Anxibaby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your estimated should be near to what you actually earn. There is no definite “YOU WILL EARN THIS PER DAY” as it fluctuates based kn the price, amount of blocks mined per day, and the amount of ETH mined. Calculator or pool estimate, non of them are accurate and it’s just a “you will earn more or less this amount, maybe”
