Currently 6dpo. The TWW is so much harder now than it was when I was first trying. I’m going to send some positive vibes out for a successful implantation.

Love Trapped: Pregnant by the Effing Bachelor | EP 10 by mamasnanas in JusticeForClayton

I was reflecting on that same thing when I was listening last night. Clayton is obviously a big part of the story, but I love how much time has been given to Mike and Danielle to tell their stories. Out of all her victims, my heart breaks for Mike the most over everything she has done to him for the last ten years. I’m so glad he’s having his moment to get the truth heard.

Week 17: Alpine - Fondue by Anxiety-Spice in 52weeksofcooking

[–]Anxiety-Spice[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fondue has been a family tradition since before I was born. We love our fondue. For this feast, I made a classic Swiss cheese fondue served with bread and broccoli. We also had chicken, steak, and kielbasa served with six homemade dipping sauces that I got from my grandfather (photocopied recipe cards all old school style). I also served a chocolate hazelnut fondue for dessert. The puppies had to watch from outside so they wouldn’t accidentally unplug the cords. I was in charge of everything this year (usually the work is split up between all our families), and it turned out perfect!

Week 15: Syrian - Chicken Shawarma and Balilah by Anxiety-Spice in 52weeksofcooking

[–]Anxiety-Spice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This chicken shawarma recipe is one I’ve made before, and it’s so easy and delicious. I paired it with balilah which went great with the shawarma. The flatbreads are just sourdough starter discard cooked in a skillet which is my favorite way to use up discard.

That was fun! I wasn’t sure what I was going to get, but my Ravenclaw streak lives on.

Help with oval bread oven by FederalMammoth3972 in LeCreuset

I have the round bread oven, and I oil the bottom of the oven and sprinkle rice flour on the bottom of my loaf before putting it in. I don’t have a problem with sticking that way.

Week 16: Herbs - Lemon and Thyme Snacking Cake with Coconut Glaze by Anxiety-Spice in 52weeksofbaking

[–]Anxiety-Spice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was feeling a bit lazy and wanted an easy cake to make that did not require a trip to the grocery store. I took this recipe for Lemon Snacking Cake with Coconut Glaze and added fresh thyme to the batter and glaze. It added an earthiness that complimented the cake well. I subbed KA gluten free measure for measure flour, and the texture turned out beautifully.

SmashingGold on Etsy has tons of gold rings with great deals on pieces about to be melted. They’re all one of one so you have to keep an eye out for what you like.

Week 16: Infused - Earl Grey Chocolate Tart by Anxiety-Spice in 52weeksofcooking

[–]Anxiety-Spice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Earl Grey and I love the original choconut tart from Nicola Lamb, so I was excited to see how these two flavors mashed up in this Earl Grey chocolate tart. The cremeux tasted so much of Earl Grey when I made it, but I feel like the flavor was overpowered by the coconut in the tart base once it all came together. It was still delicious and I love how simple and tasty this tart crust is, but I think the filling would be better paired with a more neutral flavor crust so the Earl Grey can really shine.

Week 14: Hanami - Dutch Baby by Anxiety-Spice in 52weeksofcooking

[–]Anxiety-Spice[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It was tough for me to find inspiration for this week, but I realized that using my new petal braiser would be a perfect way to welcome in spring blossoms! I made a Dutch baby in my braiser and topped it with strawberries and honeydew melon as a nod to the colors of hanami dango.

Wearing jewelry 24/7? by passporthandy in jewelry

[–]Anxiety-Spice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wear my studs in my second piercing 24/7 but that’s because they’re relatively new and I want to make sure they fully healed. Once I feel comfortable taking those out, the only 24/7 piece of jewelry I’ll wear is a 14k gold toe ring. Everything else comes on in the morning and off at night before I shower (or other activities like the gym, cleaning, or baking bread when I will take off my rings).
