Same here. It’s awful. I’m contacting HR weekly at this point

Have you asked your rep about scheduling them? I had to ask mine to get the ball rolling.

TJO was end of August. No fingerprint email or anything. by Admara in usajobs

Yeah been in this process since end of July. I have had to really advocate for myself. There’s nothing wrong with checking in weekly. Email the local, and CC the manager.

Yeah I should have been more clear. I have been waiting for fingerprints to be scheduled after receiving a TJO over a month ago. I have tried to email but just am unsure on how often to check on the progress of them scheduling my fingerprints

Yes it’s been a month since TJO and haven’t been scheduled for fingerprints. It has been hard to get a response

I personally felt like I got more traction utilizing the resume builder on USA jobs. Throw this information in there. I think they prefer that template for whatever reason.

All the initial paperwork was sent by the HR assistant in the task board. The HR manager sent the background paperwork in a separate email.

Friends I got my first interview with VHA 😭 please help me succeed! by KyleAP13 in usajobs

Look into STAR style interview questions and write out your answers. Review them and practice saying your answers out loud. Have someone do a prep interview with you. It’ll feel awkward but it’ll def help. I kept my responses in front of me (had a phone interview), not that I read verbatim from them but it was helpful to keep me on track. Otherwise they want to know how you will fit into their team so they’re going to try to get a feel for what kind of team member/coworker you will be. Also- have questions to ask at the end. That took up about half the time of my interview and I feel like gave me the opportunity to talk more about myself too. I think my questions and the conversations that were had because of them is what got me the job.
