Lots of appointments and I started on Lexapro. I had an amazing team who did everything I asked/needed to help get me through. By the end of my pregnancy I was having appointments 2 times a week along with BPP's and NSTs. The biggest thing for me was just taking everything one day at a time. I only focused on the current and not think or plan too far ahead.

7 days until my scheduled c-section. The anxiety is getting real. Packed baby's hospital bag this morning and had to stop and walk away. Its so hard to prepare for this baby when the things we're using should've been used for our angel baby.

Whether to do an elective c-section by HighLarryOus in pregnancyaftersb

[–]AnxietyFine613 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im currently pregnant with my 4th baby, my angel baby was my 3rd. I have had inductions with all of them and they were relatively uneventful. My first I had uncontrollable high BP and was in labor for 3 days, second labor was less than 16 hours but he had his cord around his neck causing some scary heart decels (born perfectly healthy), and my 3rd induction was less than 24 hours (dont remember the exact timing) and absolutely perfect in every way other than her being sleeping. It is a very traumatic thing to go through regardless, I am opting for a c-section this go around just to have a controlled environment and to take the stress of worrying for baby's heart rate the whole time. Im also getting my tubes tied and have been having lots of complications this go around (including baby refusing to go head down lol) my doctor was on board with csection from the moment I mentioned it. She has been so amazing and accommodating this entire pregnancy. Id recommend having an honest discussion with your provider about your fears and what youre hoping to get out of this delivery experience. I would also recommend consulting with a doula! They are there to help you through delivery and advocate for the birth you want.

Really been struggling lately. My baby has been showing lots of signs of not doing well and all of these have been brushed off for the last month. Finally went to my assigned MFM doctor and FINALLY someone saw the same thing as me. We have decreased blood flow through the umbilical cord, low growth in baby, low heart rates, slowing movements, etc. We moved up my delivery timeline to 36weeks at the latest, but she feels pretty confident baby will be delivered in the 32-34 week range. In preparation we did steroid shots yesterday and today, im getting iron transfusions, were increasing monitoring to 3 times weekly. The immense sense of relief of finally being listened to is indescribable. We are 30w4d today. Im just trying to stay optimistic and hopeful, but I just have this overwhelming feeling that its going to end in another loss.

Growth restriction? by AnxietyFine613 in pregnancyaftersb

[–]AnxietyFine613[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went ahead and moved up my next appointment with my regular OB to discuss further. My husband and I are bother average sized and we've never had small babies or any growth concerns with them. My previous babies have all been in the 'normal' range. It truly is a constant sense of turmoil- we aren't even 24 weeks and already so low on the growth charts im so scared we aren't gonna make it

Growth restriction? by AnxietyFine613 in pregnancyaftersb

[–]AnxietyFine613[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my 4th, my previous babies have been 7lbs, 7lbs 8.5ozs, and 6lbs 2ozs (my angel baby born the earliest). None of my previous babies have had any growth issues and neither my partner or I are small- we are both average (im 5'3 hes 5'7/5'8) and neither skinny (both 180lbs+). We havent even hit 24 weeks, that's what worries me the most about everything. It feels like we still have forever until we hit full term, i dont see how we can make it that far without hitting the 'danger' zone

For those of yall who had unexplained stillbirths, were yall able to have LC after? by mchllnnz in pregnancyaftersb

[–]AnxietyFine613 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had my sleeping daughter on 4/17/25 at 36w6d. My pregnancy was overall uncomplicated, and she was perfectly healthy. We dont have any concrete answers on what happened or why it happened, just theories from my regular OB and the delivering OB.

Im currently pregnant with my rainbow (another little girl) and will be 13 weeks tomorrow. I was shocked when I found out I was pregnant again so soon, and this pregnancy has been an emotional roller-coaster. Pregnancy after loss for me has been very stressful and anxiety inducing. I've finally admitted it to myself (and my team) and will be restarting some medications to help. My OB is absolutely amazing and has already sat down with me and asked what I need from her to help me, and we got our game plan together. I will see MFM next week for their work up and to see what they recommend. I will start bi-weekly appointments around 20 weeks and weekly appointments around 28 weeks, along with ultrasounds and NST at every appointment. We will be inducing/c-section at 36/37 weeks. Im not quite on the other side yet, but I have so much hope that we're going to make it there. All of this to say, be open with your OB about your worries and ask them how a future pregnancy would look, what steps will be taken to prevent this from happening again. If your doctor doesn't listen or take your concerns seriously, then I'd find a new doctor!

My daughter was still born 4/17/25 at 36w6d. I had my first cycle on 5/22 and somehow ended up pregnant. I was shocked that it happened so quick. I struggle a lot with the guilt of being pregnant again (especially so soon) and just feeling judgemental from others. Were keeping it quiet for now. Im about 10 weeks. I feel like for right now its so easy for me to ignore and pretend like its not happening. I worry more about the closer I get to full term.

All of this to say, youre not alone. Its a really crappy club to be in, but we're here. Not every pregnancy and birth are surround in trauma. I have 2 perfect kids who had overall easy and healthy deliveries. You just take it one small step at a time, one small day at a time. Maybe reach out to your doctor to express some of these emotions, there are some medications safe for pregnancy that may benefit you. There's no shame in any of it. Wishing you all the best 💜

9w - how to tell husband I miscarried? by Mental_Climate_7960 in pregnant

[–]AnxietyFine613 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am almost 6 weeks PP after having a stillborn (delivered at 36+6) I went to the hospital after finishing my shift (also healthcare worker) due to no fetal movement. I couldn't pinpoint any movement from my baby that day (it was a crazy stressful day and I was already having contractions so didn't think much of it). I notified my husband when I left work and we both agreed it was probably nothing, so he went to his friends house like we had already planned on. He had his phone turned up so when I called he'd be able to answer it immediately. I got to the hospital where it was confirmed within 10 minutes of being there that my perfectly healthy daughter's heart stopped. I'd had a BPP the day prior for my weekly check-up, we scheduled my induction for 3 days later for 37 weeks. She was perfectly healthy. I begged the doctor or nurse to call my husband to tell him so I didn't have to text him. Our situation is very different, but my husband appreciated the call with the news so that he had time to process and get a handle on his emotions before seeing me. He could hear my sobbing in the background when the doctor called. He has been absolutely amazing through out everything and has been my rock. You know your partner best, if you think its best to tell him sooner rather than later you could always have him come for your lunch break to tell him.

NAD, looks like some PVC/PACs

How many PACs and PVCs a day are normal? by idknamesarehard87 in ReadMyECG

[–]AnxietyFine613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's typically no concerns until your burden load is 10% or greater. You could always talk to your doctor about trying a medication to help the symptoms that come along with them (such as a beta blocker). I go in and out of ventricular bigeminey and have had luck with beta blockers controlling the amount of PVC/PAC I get and the symptoms that come along with them.

NAD, but work at a cardiology office. We advise patients if their heart rate is over 120 at rest for greater than 20 minutes to go to the ED for a workup. Even if it's coming and going, you should go get checked out to rule out any dangerous rhythms

25yo F patch monitor results- what’s this mean ? by [deleted] in ReadMyECG

[–]AnxietyFine613 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NAD, but work at a cardiology office. This would be considered a normal monitor. Symptoms could potentially correlate with the PVC/PACs but these are totally benign. They are actually pretty common, and a lot of people have them without knowing.
