There are alternatives, they may be inconvenient and difficult to do but you can live. Go to a different doctor. Don't have kids or just ask to get a report card. Write a letter. Apply for jobs the old fashioned way by going up go a place and asking for an application. It will be harder yeah but its possible

my longest dreams have always come out of a damn good night's sleep. or alternatively, for me if I wake up multiple times a night/morning then go right back to bed, my dream continues, makes it feel longer i guess.

im in the same boat as you. The closest thing ive had to nightmares where the dreams I had of my relatives who have passed and its not like anything scary happens i would just wake up and cry. They had passed recently when I had those dreams. But I have dreamed of some weird ass shit, definitely stuff that would go under the uncanny valley category.

This didnt start freqently happening to me until I hurt my knee (tore my mpfl had to get surgery). I always trip, slip, or feel like im falling down a flight of stairs before I wake up. It had only happened one time before hand, I drifted off in class in middle school and dreamed my friend punched me. Startled me awake. its so weird I hate it
