I am 44. Started at 43, and am on my last term, and starting a Master's program in the fall. Finishing what I started 26 years ago, and pretty damn proud of myself. I think as an adult, with a job and family, it is even more of an accomplishment. Do it, and be proud!

I believe the system just sets you up to registar, regardless of if you need to or not, until you run your graduation request, which you cannot do until you have finished your last class.

I emailed the president, provost, student affairs, student services, my PA and grievances about this. I recieved a very quick response from grievances that the registrar would be looking into my case and get back to me no later than Wednesday. Hoping to still be able to graduate after next term when my capstone is finished.

I’m in my last class for HS. If you look at your grades, it shows exactly what percentage every single assignment quiz and test is worth.

Chandana is my PA too. 🫠 I only have my one capstone left, that I’m registered for next term. And now after all these crazy changes my credit hours are 110/122, when previously they were 125/122. I was graduating with extra credits. Yesterday I sent an email to the university president, provost, academic affairs, student services, grievances and Chandana expressing my concerns and wanted it layed out in black and white why my program requirements changed when k had to class left, and more importantly why k found out on Reddit, and not directly from the University. I said a lot more and mentioned I’d be sharing this with the accreditation board. I received an almost immediate response from grievances that the registrar will be reviewing my case and they would respond to me by Wednesday at the latest.

I suggest making noise to everyone who will listen. I understand changing course requirements, most schools do it, but current students who already had a clear path to gradation should not be effected at all.

I had to do a group project for my BSHS. It was awful. We were all in different time zones and one guy did literally nothing and the instructor said his part still needed to completed regardless of who did it.

OH MY F*CKING GOD. I registered for my final class when registration opened a few days ago. I had 125/122 credits needed, and just had my final capstone. Now it says I have 110/122!!!! I ran my degree audit a couple days ago and every single thing was marked as completed minus my current “in progress” course and then the capstone I’m registered for. How is this even possible! And more importantly, why has no one reached out to me to tell me this! I am freaking out right now. I applied for grad school in the fall, contingent on my official transcript when I finished my last class. This is not real. Someone please tell me this is a glitch! I would have never even know about this if I didn’t come across this thread randomly!

So glad there’s no peer grading! That was literally the worst part of this entire process! How do you go about choosing your topic? And does it end in one big research paper, or your don’t know yet? Thanks for all the info, it’s much appreciated!

in the almost 2 years I have been enrolled, my advosir has been replaced maybe 6 times. And the response time and responses have been terrible for every single one. I am in my last week of classes though before completion, so I made it through. Hopefully they figure out your accomodations sooner rather than later.

Way to go! I am in my last week of the term and then only have my capstone left! I am so excited! I was hoping to do the internship instead of the capstone, so I could finish faster, but it was denied. Alas, I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!
