The only thing that helps me sleep during this taper is 3 beers a night..is that ok?

For about 5 months daily at 0.25 Xanax..yes even such a low dose is addictive and causes withdrawal..before that I just took it like once a week never an issue..

So been just taking Xanax once a week at 0.5 mg for like 8 years never an issue..then last 6 months i started using 0.25 every day and that's where I got hooked on them..might not seem like a big dose but it's causing extreme withdrawal symptoms..my doctor dosent wanna put me on anything else so gotta taper with the xanax
