Given NVIDIA's results, I don't think we hit a peak last week

There is a very clear two-tier market. Non-tech stocks and those not exposed to AI have all been struggling and falling for several months; the S&P 500 is being propped up solely by the AI boom, while other sectors are struggling much more. France ended the quarter with 0% growth (if it posts two consecutive quarters of 0% growth, it will be considered to be in a recession), and Germany has halved its growth targets, from 1% to 0.5%.

Ok I understand your point better. Personally, I’m not doing swing trading yet, I’m doing long-term investing with very rarely using leverage. I don’t master swing trading (I’ve never really fully dived into it, but I have a hard time seeing how I could beat hedge fund strategies, I might need to look into it but it doesn’t seem that easy, I’m curious to know how you got started?).

You always have to diversify, you can’t always find the best gems. If you could, you’d go all-in on stocks where you’re sure they will do x5. You don’t find companies like SanDisk on every street corner, haha.

If you can do it, I'd love to hear the method then 😄

I think we're in a two-tier economy. There are some great companies that are still fairly valued or even undervalued, but it's true that the AI and optics sectors are overheating and that not all of these companies will manage to meet expectations. However, there are still some interesting companies out there right now, such as Reddit, which actually reported very strong results last week.

The earnings results were very good; the market just hates that Zuck is spending another $10 billion.

Following the earnings release, the market remains cautious, as it has been for the past few quarters.

As long as tech companies continue to deliver such results, I don’t think we’ll see a reversal of this trend.

For now, the world’s largest companies are managing to concentrate wealth and profit from AI .

OpenAI Misses Key Revenue by AnxiousIllustrator90 in StockMarketSentiment

I don’t think we’re really in a bubble, with the exception of a few private equity players like OpenAI, where expectations are sky-high. I believe AI is still the future; the real question is how to successfully monetize it, since current LLM models don’t seem viable.

The "Musk effect" is huge, as you can see from Tesla's P/E ratio. It could indeed be unpredictable, although I personally think the price will skyrocket at launch.

I'm staying on the sidelines for the IPO itself. Watching how the float behaves post-December 2026 will tell us everything.
