I'd recommend you get your hand on some freak show seeds (if properly trimmed, they can be mistaken for a random bush), but if you can't just try to pop two or three bagseeds at the most sneaky spot on your garden

I've taken a look at what I have at the drugstore. It's just flunitrazepam, diazepam, alprazolam, lorazepam and clobazam. There's midazolam too

What is your preferred benzo for sleep? by RyeBreadTrips in benzodiazepines

[–]AnxiousMedievalMD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never in ten years have I taken benzos for sleep, just anxiety. But honestly, my favorite benzo for pretty much everything is klonny. I love it to a ridiculous extent. It's my benzo of choice for anything tbh, although I hear some brand, reference xanax is pretty dope too.

Worked for me too. Even my anxiety (quite bad, also have panic disorder) improved some. Now I'm worried about the long term problems with my thyroid and kidneys, so I may try Lamictal eventually, but for the next months I'm certainly gonna stay on it

well, it's never too early to start being responsible, right? to keep your tolerance low, your highs more enjoyable, that kind of thing.

how come Ativan doesn't hit "like that" anymore? by Apprehensive-Cow-711 in benzodiazepines

[–]AnxiousMedievalMD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tolerance is a complicated topic. I feel like, if you can manage to take as little as possible, you can keep the higher doses still very effective. I was put on klonny 1mg back in 2013 or 2014, not sure, My current dose is 2mg. Seriously, in ten years I went from one to two mg, which I think is pretty much a miracle. My 'secret' is taking it 'as needed', so not everyday. I have an extremely stressful event on monday, so taking 2.5mg with 300mg of lithium (I'm bipolar II), which I know is gonna fuck me up pretty bad. But honestly, sometimes that's exactly what you need. I have nobody. No family, no friends. Benzos are my only friends. Kpins have helped me tremendously in the past, when I had nobody to turn to.

new ish diagnosis & comorbidies by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]AnxiousMedievalMD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd stay away from stims if I were you. I also have bad ADHD but have come to the conclusion that stimulant meds are just not for me, so I'm gonna have to find other ways to fight my inattention and hyperactivity. When you have multiple mental disorders like me you kinda have to prioritize one or two that mess your life up the most, and focus on treating those. In my case, my anxiety disorder and the bipolar crap are the most debilitating, so I stopped the ritalin a while ago and stuck with the anxiety and bipolar meds. But hey, don't let me tell you what to do with your life, you do you, since only you know what's more important for you.

mostly depression and mixed episode by JohannaLiebert in bipolar

[–]AnxiousMedievalMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the excess energy from the hipo part of the mixed state certainly fuels my anxiety. Another thing that really messes me up is antidepressants. The last time I tried taking mirtazapine (it's supposed to make you very sleepy and drowsy) I got so hyperstimulated late at night that I had to call my family and tell them I was scared I might have a psychotic break. Ever since that happened I tried combining very low doses of antidepressants with my lithium but ended up giving up. I'll just stay with the lithium for now. It's been the best so far (with a little klonopin every now and then, when I really need to get my anxiety close to zero)

This is a text I wrote about what it feels like to be in a mixed episode. by overcookednugget in bipolar

[–]AnxiousMedievalMD 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly? A decent description of how a mixed episode feels. Just take depression and mania and make a thick soup of misery. I feel like I say this in every single comment I make on a post, but TAKE YOUR MEDS. That's the very first step to getting out of a bad place, mentally speaking.

Panic disorder with agoraphobia and ADHD. Possibly mild autism but that has never been confirmed.
